Havergal College

Hi! I am one of the Cochairs for TYSIC. I am currently a grade 12 student at Havergal and have always been passionate about STEM. Outside of school, I love volunteering at YSM in the computer lab and playing basketball. I am so excited for the conference to go back in person and I hope you all enjoy our amazing speakers this year!




Sheri Zhang

Branksome Hall

Hi, I am a Grade 11 student at Branksome Hall. I love competing in robotics (FIRST Tech Challenge) and building my own robotics projects. I also love music, playing flute in my school’s Wind Symphony and participating in CISMF. This is my second year in TYSIC Planning Committee, and I hope all of our participants can enjoy the conference with us.

Hi~ I’m a Grade 11 student at Branksome Hall. I have a love of entrepreneurship and music. I’m the founder of Snack Shack at school and I’m participating in various bands like Wind Symphony and CISMF. Outside of school, I’m a competitive 29er sailor at ABYC and occasionally take anime glass painting commissions to make some extra cash!




William Lee

St. Michael’s College School

Hey! I am a grade 12 student at St. Michael’s College School. I have a passion for finance and STEM, and I’m interested in a quant or banking career after university. Outside of my school activities, which include being on the DECA and Model UN teams. I'm part of the marketing team at TYSIC, and look forward to meeting everyone at the conference!

Zimo Yang

St. Andrew's College

Hi! I'm Zimo Yang, a grade 10 student at St. Andrew's College. I have a strong enthusiasm for science and engineering, and I am a part of the Environmental Council to advance sustainability at our school. I'm thrilled to be taking part in TYSIC this year and am looking forward to getting to know and working with other peers who share the same interests.

Hi! I'm Reyna, a grade 11 student at Appleby College. I am very excited to be on this year's council as part of the logistics team. I love everything STEM, participating in several robotics, engineering, and health competitions. Outside of school, I have enjoyed being involved in programs with the Sea Education Association, Canadian Wildlife Foundation, and Inspirit AI.

 Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute

Hi! I’m a grade 11 student at Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute. In my spare time, I love to read and play piano. I’m also the founder of the Asian Student Alliance and an executive member of the STEM council and school newspaper at my school. I hope you enjoy the conference and good luck to the participants of the innovation challenge!

Hi, I’m a grade 11 student at Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute. I’m very much a people’s person, you’ll always find me texting, facetiming or talking to someone. I am the president of my school's STEM council and vice president of Model UN. Outside of school, I love helping others which is why I run my own tutoring business.

Hi, I’m a grade 10 student attending St. Clement’s School. As an avid advocate for mental health, I am the Chapter Founder of, a non-profit organization focused on improving youth mental health. I also enjoy competing in VEX robotics and playing on my school’s badminton team. Can’t wait to meet everyone at this year's conference!

Hello! I’m a tenth grade student at Upper Canada College. I have a keen interest in entrepreneurship and the applications of technology with business. This has led to my creation of Melanin Tech, an organization that helps youth of colour get interested in STEM and business. I'm also a member of the debate club at my school. I'm eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals at the conference and see what innovative ideas we can come up with together!

Hello! I am a Grade 10 student at Branksome Hall. I never stop talking about music, particularly jazz; you can find me participating in most ensembles including CISMF. Jacob Cho

Upper Canada College

Hi, I am a Grade 11 student attending Upper Canada College. I am highly interested in entrepreneurship and programming and enjoy competing in business competitions. I am currently leading my school's DECA and FBLA clubs and am head of the Urban Planning club. Outside of school, I am an enthusiastic cello player in a number of string ensembles. Like many of you, I am new to TYSIC and excited about the upcoming conference!
